Our Charter
The Diversity and Inclusion Workgroup was established by PSF Board resolution in November 2020.
Our Purpose: To further the PSF's mission to "support and facilitate the growth of a diverse and international community of Python programmers" and to provide guidance to the PSF Board of Directors in line with this mandate.
We are empowered to:
- Make recommendations to the PSF Board on D&I matters
- Conduct research and gather community feedback
- Develop resources and best practices
- Represent the workgroup in PSF and community spaces
How We Operate
Meetings
Monthly, open to observers
Decisions
Consensus-based; formal votes when needed
Reporting
Monthly written reports to the PSF Board
Communication
Slack, mailing list, and public channels
Code of Conduct
